Neymar scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain stormed to a 6-2 victory

NeymarNeymar scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain stormed to a 6-2 victory over Toulouse to give them maximum points from their opening three matches.
This convincing victory gave Unai Emery’s side top spot in the embryonic Ligue 1 table, although they had trailed at Parc des Princes to Max Gradel’s 18th-minute opener. Neymar pulled PSG level before Adrien Rabiot doubled their lead to ensure they led at the half-time interval.
Edinson Cavani then added a third before Thiago Silva’s own goal gave the visitors

Milan demolish 10-man Crotone

Milan tore 10-man Crotone to shreds with Patrick Cutrone, Franck Kessie and Suso, but the hosts saw red after just four minutes.
The game was without doubt changed when Federico Ceccherini saw red for bringing down Cutrone and Kessie converted the resulting penalty.
Teenager striker Cutrone, who has been linked with a loan move to Crotone, was inspirational and nodded in a second.
He then set up the third goal for Suso and the game was to all intents and purposes over by half-time.

Mr Manana has previously apologised for what he called a "shameful incident". He claimed he was provoked, but "should have exercised restraint".
His political party, the African National Congress, welcomed his resignation and also thanked him for his service.
When the allegations first emerged, the ANC said "such behaviour is unacceptable ...

A seven-year-old boy from Sydney is still missing after being caught up in the deadly terrorist attack in Barcelona as police continue to search for at least one suspect believed to still be at large.
It’s thought seven-year-old Julian Cadman was separated from his mother, Jom Cadman, when a white Fiat van ran down pedestrians on the Las Ramblas boulevard, killing 14 people and injuring 130 before fleeing.
Spanish police say the driver of Thursday’s van attack may still be alive and on the run and are hunting for Moroccan-born Younes Abouyaaqoub, 22.

Donald Trump refused to condemn white supremacist groups

trump-white-house-response.jpgtrump-white-house-response.jpgDonald Trump did not explicitly condemn white supremacist groups after violence broke out in Charlottesville, because he did not want to “dignify” their politics, a White House spokesman has claimed.
Tom Bossert, the US President’s Homeland Security Adviser, was responding to widespread criticism of Mr Trump for condemning violence “on many sides” but not directly mentioning far-right groups such as the Klu Klux Klan (KKK).
Mr Bossert claimed this was an attempt by the US President to address “the fundamental issue”.
“The President not only condemned the violence, and stood up at a time and a moment when calm was necessary, and didn’t dignify the names of these groups of people, but rather addressed the fundamental issue,” he told CNN’s State of the Union.
“What you need to focus on is the rest of his statement.”
Mr Trump’s comments were “a fundamental assault on the very nature of the hatred that we’re seeing here,” he added.
Following violent clashes between far-right groups and counter-protesters, in which an

Cristiano Ronaldo sees RED, sent off for diving and pushes referee

Despite Real Madrid holding a 2 – 1 lead with under 10 minutes left to play, Ronaldo went down (quite easily) in the box, appealing to the ref for a free-kick. But he wasn’t having a bar of it – instead, deciding to brandish Ronnie his second yellow for the match.
This means that Ronaldo will miss the next Supercopa match for Real Madrid, and may even receive further scrutiny in the coming days – after being seen to push the ref after he brandished the red card.

Bolt vows "never again" after emotional London farewell

LONDON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Usain Bolt took an emotional final bow on the track at the end of the World Championships in London on Sunday before declaring that, definitely and definitively, there was no way he would ever return to sprinting.
After embarking on a special lap of honour so slow that you could not believe that we were saying farewell to the world's fastest man, Bolt was asked by reporters already missing him whether he might ever change his mind.
"No, I've seen too many people come back and make things worse and shame themselves. I won't be one of those people who come back," Bolt said firmly.
Twenty four hours earlier, the 30-year-old Jamaican's matchless sprint career had ended painfully on the last leg of the 4 x 100 metres relay final as he crumpled to the ground in the London Stadium with a hamstring injury.
Bolt, who admitted that it had been a terrible end of a "stressful" championship for him after also losing his 100 metres crown, said he had felt consoled on Sunday when someone told him "Muhammad Ali lost his last fight too -- so don't be too stressed about it".
Already he was looking forward to an exciting future, he said, with his management camp talking to IAAF President Sebastian Coe, about what he might be able to do for the sport in an ambassadorial capacity.
He also revealed that his coach Glen Mills, the sage of Jamaican athletics, wanted him to become his coaching assistant.
"So we'll see how that goes," Bolt smiled about the man who has put him through a lifetime of pain.
And the great man even had reporters laughing when he gave them a vision of what a 50-year-old Usain Bolt might end up doing.
"I've no idea. Hopefully, with three kids, married, still in track and field, trying to help the sport, watching it grow," he said.

Scaled-Back African American Heritage Festival To Be Held Saturday

Baltimore’s popular African American Heritage Festival takes place Saturday in Druid Hill Park. It’s a departure from the usual M&T Bank Stadium location and has been scaled back in other ways, too.
Traditionally in July, the festival is in August this year, and will be one day only instead of the traditional two-day run.
At a news conference in May, Mayor Catherine Pugh explained the changes.
“I love all the festivals that we celebrate throughout the city,” she says. “The city put an awful lot of money into the African American Heritage Festival and A, the city can’t afford to do that, and B, a two-day event just got to be too expensive for the city.”
The city has spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the high-profile event, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.
In the past, the festival has drawn top performers and tens of thousands of visitors to downtown.
The focus this year is on local talent and vendors, and showcasing Baltimore’s own African-American community.
A spokesman for the mayor says this is a trial run and that she will re-evaluate following the festival.
