Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly willing to see one of his players traded for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic but it won’t be Anthony Martial.
The Nerazzurri are resigned to losing the 28-year-old Croatian forward to United, though initially wanted Martial to go the other way, however that’s been ruled out by the Red Devils who see the Frenchman a future star at Old Trafford.Instead, as the Daily Mirror writes, they are prepared to include defenders Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian as part of the deal.
Of the two Darmian will most likely interest Inter’s new manager Luciano Spalletti who is seeking a right-back and has recently been linked with Real Madrid’s Danilo.
Darmian, who joined United from Torino in the summer of 2015, was in-and-out of Mourinho’s team last season and the Italian international has continually been associated with a return to Serie A
