Javier Mascherano speaks out over Neymar transfer rumours

Javier Mascherano has spoken out about the recent transfer speculation linking his Barcelona teammate Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian is reportedly being targeted by the big-spending Ligue 1 outfit, who are willing to match his £197million release clause. Brazilian sports broadcasting giant Esporte Interactivo even claimed that the 25-year-old had agreed terms with the French club. As things stand it is currently unclear whether a verbal agreement between the club and player has been made or whether PSG will come up with the cash.Barcelona are confident they can keep hold of the forward, who is the heir to the Lionel Messi throne in Catalonia.

And Neymar's teammate Mascherano also appears confident he will remain at Barcelona, claiming, contrary to reports, that he is "really happy".
Mascherano told ESPN: "There's always going to be rumours and news around him."It's really difficult to give advice. Firstly, I'm not anyone to be giving advice and secondly, I see him really happy here, really happy.
"He is a really important player for the club. Because of his age, he's the future of the club and we hope we can keep on counting on him."
