Llorente has spent the last two seasons on loan, gaining experience in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano and Malaga.
He made 25 appearances for the latter in 2016/17, making no defensive errors and ranking second in the Malaga squad for aerial duels won (54).
The 23-year-old also earned an international call-up, playing the final 31 minutes of a friendly win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in late May.Now, he has completed a move
away from Madrid, to Real Sociedad.
As confirmed by Sociedad’s official website, Llorente has penned a five-year contract. He will link-up with his new teammates on 7th July for the start of pre-season.
Llorente said on the move: “[I’m] very happy to have the opportunity for a club like Real Sociedad to notice me. After two loans I have already gained a level of experience to face more important challenges.
On what he’ll bring to the side, he added: “Work, effort and sacrifice.”
