Novak Djokovic dumped out of French Open by Dominic Thiem after straight sets defeat in quarter-final clash
MIKE DICKSON AT ROLAND GARROS: Novak Djokovic was humbled by Austria's Dominic Thiem by lunchtime today as he gave up his only remaining Grand Slam title – the French Open. The world No 2 was rolled over with remarkable ease by the 23-year-old world number seven, who when they met in last year's semi-final won just seven games. This time it was a 7-6, 6-3, 6-0 victory for Thiem, who will now face Rafael Nadal, who again progressed with sublime ease when compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta retired early in the third set of their match.
