But he has a secret new nickname behind the scenes at Old Trafford.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, United staff call Mourinho 'Daisy' behind his back.
It is in reference to the film Driving Miss Daisy in which Morgan Freeman's character Hoke Colburn chauffeurs Jessica Tandy's Daisy Werthan.
And United's backroom staff have noticed the similarity with Mourinho also being ferried around by a chauffeur.
He reportedly doesn't use a private car to get from his Lowry hotel base to United's Carrington training base or Old Trafford.
