Manchester United have got their summer transfer negotiations up and running by making their move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
The Sun report that United have offered £52 million for the 24-year-old Spain international who scored 20 goals in all competitions last season.
According to Sky Italia, United did not include goalkeeper David de Gea in their offer but the Champions League champions want closer to £78m for the forward.
