Cristiano Ronaldo rethinking decision to leave Real Madrid after Florentino Perez support

Cristiano Ronaldo
The Portugal star was said to have made an irreversible decision to quit the Bernabeu and Spain last week.
Ronaldo was said to be furious in the wake of tax fraud allegations which claimed he owed £13million.
Manchester United and PSG were instantly linked with moves while Express Sport understands Chelsea also hold an interest.
However United have cooled on Ronaldo and would prefer to concentrate on other targets believing their
former number seven is likely to remain at Madrid.
And reports from AS this morning suggest that could be the case.
Ronaldo is reported to have been taken aback by the response to his quit threat - particularly the words of president Florentino Perez - and is going to rethink his decision. Ronaldo is currently on international duty with Portugal at the Confederations Cup.
He has’t spoken to Perez since the Champions League final but the chairman gave a number of interviews yesterday after being re-elected for another term at the top of the club.
And he insisted Ronaldo was a part of the club’s future and he would try to keep him.
"This is all very strange. Cristiano is a good guy, I will have to talk with Cristiano and see what's happening,” he said.
And Ronaldo may now stick it out in Spain having been at Madrid for eight years.
