CDQ apologizes for alleging that Dammy Krane’s arrest was a publicity stunt
Nigerian rapper CDQ and Beat producer
Masterkraft had some days back remarked that Dammy Krane’s arrest was
nothing but a mere publicity stunt, being that Krane still had his cell
phone with him with which he was able to make tweets. Seems like CDQ’s
supposition wasn’t welcomed by fans of Dammy Krane and Nigerians at
large, which is why he has made to tender an apology to Dammy Krane and
his family.
Meanwhile,
Dammy Krane appeared in court on June 5, 2017, for his bail hearing in
the 9-count fraud charges leveled against him in the U.S. The court
looked at his papers and found out he has no money or property in any
bank. Dammy Krane will be kept in jail until June 22, 2017. Given this
developments, CDQ thought it wise to apologize. He wrote;
“First
of all, I’d like to apologize to the family of Dammy Kranel I never
meant to make a joke out of Dammy Krane’s situation. However, seeing his
tweet about a new material raised some doubts as to the entire story.
Quite apart from this, I feel it’s premature for us to conclude on the
issue at hand, bearing in mind that an accused is innocent until proven
guilty. Dammy, we love you, no matter what. #God_Bless_America.
#God_Help_Nigeria.”
